Collecting Stories of
Death & Rebirth
The body is my home, though not a forever home.
It weathers change and age everyday, making repairs and creating workarounds for what is not mendable.
Cells reproduce in ways that my uterus will not.
I house ancestral DNA, I carry the weight of cell memory. And all this will return to dust.
I am made of stardust and to stardust I will return.
Maybe I expect death because I also know that life has been so very unlikely.
And that while I experience time,
I also lose time.
And in losing it, am found in your care, your infinite timeline of love and rebirth.
